I. Job Summary:

The General Manager/CEO will oversee and lead the overall operations of the Automotive Center. They will be responsible for formulating, directing, and coordinating business activities to promote, expand, and modify the service packages offered at the center. This role involves overseeing vehicle service, spare parts sales, car wash, and other related technical and mechanical businesses. Additionally, the General Manager/CEO will ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the center, evaluate financial aspects through budgeting, expenditure, and profit-loss projection, maintain high-quality standards, and lead research and development initiatives.

II. Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Management:
  • Provide strong leadership and operational directions to the Automotive Center, inspiring and motivating the team to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and oversee all work units within the center, including service, spare parts, car wash, and related businesses.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and employee development.
  1. Financial Management:
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and take appropriate actions to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, and regularly communicate financial results to the senior management team at the center.
  1. Customer Service and Satisfaction:
  • Uphold a strong customer-centric focus, ensuring the delivery of exceptional service and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Monitor customer feedback, resolve any issues or complaints promptly, and implement measures to continuously enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners to drive repeat business and foster loyalty.
  1. Quality Control and Compliance:
  • Implement and maintain high-quality standards across all areas of the Automotive Center, ensuring adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of service technicians and staff to ensure consistent quality service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and advancements to drive innovation and improvement within the center.
  1. Business Development and Growth:
  • Identify opportunities for business expansion, develop growth strategies, and recommend new services or business lines.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences, and competitive advantages.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms, and ensure timely availability of spare parts and materials.

III. Job Specification:

Education: BA/BSc/MA/MBA/MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, Marketing Management, Accounting, Economics, Management, or related field of study.

Experience: 8-10 years of relevant work experience, including 5 years in supervisory or managerial positions in the automotive industry.

Essential Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of automotive service operations and spare parts management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent financial acumen, including budgeting, financial analysis, and driving profitability.
  • Exceptional customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software related to automotive operations and business management.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Strong background in profit-making automotive sector is a plus.

Position 2 Health and Nutrition Manager

World Vision Ethiopia is seeking a Health and Nutrition Manager to lead the design and implementation of health and nutrition programs. The manager will be responsible for developing program proposals, creating monitoring and evaluation frameworks, engaging with stakeholders, and identifying funding opportunities. The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in health and nutrition programming, a master’s degree in a related field, and demonstrated expertise in program management. This is a full-time position based in Addis Ababa.


  • Develop WVE’s national health strategic document, tools, and data collection systems.
  • Write new health and nutrition grant projects for funding.
  • Provide oversight and quality assurance for project implementation.
  • Engage with government, donors, and other stakeholders.
  • Support field operations team and sub grantees.
  • Generate evidence for program improvement and policy advocacy.
  • Coordinate with other directors to update capability statement.
  • Promote health and nutrition projects to support offices and communities of practice.


  • Master’s degree in health-related fields.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive work experience in health and nutrition program management.
  • Competency in monitoring and evaluation, results-based management, and community participation.
  • Experience working with sub grantees.
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with partners and stakeholders.

Positon 3 Education in Emergency Project Officer

World Vision Ethiopia is seeking an Education in Emergency Project Officer to support the implementation of education projects. The officer will be responsible for providing technical support to facilitators, teachers, and the school support system, integrating cross-cutting themes, monitoring project activities, coordinating with stakeholders, managing resources, and reporting on project progress. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in the field of education, knowledge of Ethiopian education policy and Education in Emergency programming, and a bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.


  • Provide direct technical support to facilitators, teachers, and school support system.
  • Integrate cross-cutting themes into the project implementation.
  • Collaborate with other sectors within World Vision Ethiopia.
  • Monitor and follow up on the implementation of planned activities.
  • Collect feedback from beneficiaries and conduct joint monitoring visits.
  • Manage the operating budget and contribute to procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with NGOs/UN agencies for resources and inputs.
  • Submit high-quality reports and document best practices.
  • Assist in the development of new project proposals.
  • Represent World Vision’s values and mission.


  • At least 3 years of experience in the field of education and working with government and education partners.
  • Understanding of the Ethiopian education policy and Education in Emergency programming.
  • Knowledge of creating child-friendly learning environments.
  • Experience in working in IDP and returnee contexts.
  • Bachelor’s degree in education or related fields.
