Position 1: Logistics Coordinator
World Vision Ethiopia is seeking a skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the vehicle fleet management system, overseeing repairs and maintenance, coordinating vehicle operations, and ensuring compliance with regulations. This is a senior-level position requiring at least 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance management.
- Manage the vehicle fleet management system (VFMS) and ensure proper installation and configuration of GPS devices
- Supervise and participate in skilled and semi-skilled repairs of mechanical defects in vehicles
- Formulate preventative maintenance schedules and make technical and operational recommendations
- Coordinate with outsourced vehicle repair workshops for maintenance work
- Manage day-to-day activities of vehicles including fuel consumption, maintenance schedule, spare parts procurement, incident reporting, insurance follow-up, and annual inspections
- Ensure accurate record-keeping and generate periodic reports from the GPS system
- Organize training on GPS/VFTS and maintenance for drivers and fleet operation supervisors
- Perform inspections on rental vehicles to confirm safety and suitability for organization operations
- Collaborate with insurers for body repair and painting works
- Prepare specifications for fleet acquisition and conduct pre-delivery inspections
- Assess vehicle technical status and make recommendations for disposal
- Actively participate in technical skill-demanding activities related to vehicle procurement
- B.A. Degree in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of work experience in fleet maintenance management
- Proficiency in using information technology tools such as email systems, cloud/web systems, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Valid 3rd-grade public driving license
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English

Position 2 : Storekeeper
World Vision Ethiopia, a child-focused organization committed to creating a positive impact, is currently seeking applications for the position of Storekeeper. This is a mid-level role requiring 2+ to 5 years of experience in storekeeping. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing goods and materials in an orderly manner within the warehouse located in Buie, SNNPR.
- Receive all procured/supplied goods/materials into the warehouse and verify their conformity with supporting procurement documentation.
- Administer stock movement, ensuring proper classification and organization of goods/materials.
- Distribute stock items/transit items based on authorized warehouse requisitions.
- Maintain appropriate files and documents related to work unit activities.
- Implement security measures to safeguard warehouse and its contents according to organizational safety procedures.
- Review inventory regularly to identify obsolete or slow-moving materials and report findings to supervisor.
- Conduct periodic checks and investigate discrepancies between perpetual records and actual stock.
- Prepare for management stock take and submit periodic stock movement reports.
- Keep the storeroom area under control clean and organized.
- Bachelor’s degree in Management or Diploma in Purchasing and Supplies Management, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field of study.
- Basic computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Minimum three years of experience in a storekeeping position.
- NGO work experience is preferred.
