Job Description
Soufflet Malt Ethiopia S.C., a subsidiary of the Soufflet Group, is seeking a General Store Keeper to join their team. As a store keeper, you will be responsible for the proper documentation, stock movement, and overall management of the warehouse.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Properly document stock movements and issue reception and issuance documents ✔️
- Ensure traceability of warehouse documents through filing, scanning, etc. ????
- Report stock movements as requested by the line manager ????
- Define quality features of incoming and outgoing goods ????✅
- Receive, store, transfer, and sell malt barley grains, seeds, chemicals, etc. ????
- Maintain the quality and integrity of goods through preventive and corrective actions ????????
- Assist in taking and maintaining inventories ????
- Manage warehouse staff and ensure adherence to warehousing procedures ????
- Handle advance payment for minor expenses related to the warehouse ????
Job Requirements
- Education: BA in Management, Accounting, Logistics, or related fields ????????????????
- Technical Skills:
- Comprehensive knowledge of stock and F/A classification and coding procedures ????
- Ability to maintain up-to-date store records ????
- Organizational skills for an efficient and cost-effective store management system ⚙️
- Effective communication skills ????️
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and relevant DB software ????
- Strong customer orientation ????
