Position
CARE Ethiopia is seeking a female Engineering Intern. The candidate must have a BSc degree in Civil Engineering, Water Supply, Construction Technology and Management, or related fields. The internship program aims to empower young female graduates and promote gender parity in the organization. The interns will receive hands-on experience, mentoring and coaching, expand their professional network while working on value-added projects, and get acquainted with the oriental difference.
Responsibilities
The intern will work on different projects under the FWS unit to ensure full engagement and skill development through various environments, types of work, and challenges. Specifically, the intern will engage in different construction works supervision and reporting such as the construction of school classrooms, VIPL, and water supply. They will also participate in infrastructure site assessment activities, data collection, and reporting.
