Abay Bank S.C. is inviting competent and qualified candidates to apply for the following positions:

Position 1: Junior Internal Auditor
Requirements: BA Degree in Economics, Accounting, Management, Business Administration, Finance and Accounting, or a related field with 2 years of experience in banking operations.
Place of Work: Bilal Branch (Under Dessie District)

Position 2: Administrative Assistant
Requirements: BA/Diploma in Secretarial Science & Office Management/Administrative Service Management with 2/4 years of related work experience.
Place of Work: Head Office/Adama District

Position 3: Management Assistant
Requirements: BA Degree in Secretarial Science and Office Management, Administrative Service Management with a minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
Place of Work: Head Office

Position 4: Building Management Officer (Mechanical)
Requirements: BSC Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 4 years of experience (preferably in the banking industry).
Place of Work: Head Office

Position 5: Senior IT Auditor
Requirements: B.Sc. Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Management Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other Information Technology-related fields with a minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.
Place of Work: Head Office

Position 6: Senior Building Management Officer
Requirements: BSC Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology & Management, or any relevant field of study with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Architectural Design, Supervision & Quantity Surveying. Experience in the banking industry is advantageous.
Place of Work: Head Office

Position 8: Branch Manager Grade I
Requirements: BA in Management, Economics, Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, or other business-related fields with 4 years of work experience in banking operations, including 2 years in a supervisory position.

Please note the following additional information:

  • Salary: As per the Bank’s scale.
  • Application Deadline: November 3, 2023.

Interested and qualified applicants who meet the above criteria can apply in person at the Human Capital Administration Department, Abay Bank Head Office, Zequala Complex, 8th Floor, located around Bambis in front of NOC Gas Station or Dire Dawa District Office.

For applicants applying to Dire Dawa Abay Sadik, Harar City, and Deder Branches, speaking and writing Afan Oromo language is preferable. For applicants applying to Jigjiga City and Kebri Dehar Branches, speaking and writing Af-Soomaali language is preferable.
